The Cognitive Function Development Institute was started in April of 2020 to develop and promote Cognitive Function Development Therapy as a mental health therapeutic modality. In 2025 the CFDI further expanded its written training curriculum and started incorporating self-paced video training; spun-off the analytic database activities into a separate program (Transformational Outcomes Analysis Systems); 24 individuals completed various levels of training on the CFDT modality; initiated spreading the CFDT modality to other locations by licensing four new locations within Arizona and Nevada; and provided for and supervised the therapy of 415 publically and privately supported mental health clients.

Transformational Outcomes Analysis Systems (TOAS) provides the underlying information assets and technology to support the organizations missions. In 2025, TOAS continued to expand and update its cloud-based database supporting critical aspects of the CFDT modality, including near-real-time tracking of client outcomes and therapist performance based on objective client measures, and applied for two patents regarding this technology. The database was expanded to incorporate the CFDIs digital training library. TOAS also oversaw all technology supporting the CFDIs therapist training program. TOAS currently manages encrypted records of 1,665 client records and 58 therapist records, 18 interactive digital training manuals, 53 digitized video assets, and a fleet of 18 end-user computers.
