Distributing, through sales and occasional giveaways, refurbished desktop and laptop computers is the second largest CFG program. 2020 was a record year, mainly because of the Covid-19 crisis, which required students and adult workers to adapt to remote, at-home learning and working. Prior to its merger with PCs for People on June 1, 2020, Connecting For Good distributed over 400 refurbished computers to low income households.

In 2020, CFG focused on workforce development and increasing economic impact in the urban core. Five new staff were hired, all of which were trained by local workforce development agencies for "second chance" individuals. This growth helped the local economy benefit from employment growth, while the local families lacking technology have benefited from CFG's ability to scale program impact.
