OUR MISSION IS TO RETURN CINEMA TO OUR COMMUNITY BY RE-CREATING THE CHATHAM THEATER, FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE ORPHEUM THEATER. THE ORPHEUM WAS RESTORED TO THE ICONIC AND HISTORIC MAIN STREET STRUCTURE WHICH HOUSED THE LOCAL MOVIE THEATER FROM 1915-1985 AS AN ART HOUSE CINEMA WHICH OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF FILMS, INCLUDING CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, INDEPENDENT FILMS, DOCUMENTARIES, FOREIGN FILMS AS WELL AS CONTEMPORARY AND CLASSIC FILMS, ALL CURRENTLY UNDER-REPRESENTED IN OUR COMMUNITY.
