Education: E A Young Academy is a K-12, not-for-profit private academy dedicated to the gifted, talented and high ability scholar. It currently serves 74 scholars, drawing from an approximately 15 mile radius. The student population is a diverse community of learners including african american, asian, hispanic, caucasian and multi-racial families. The primary mechanism used to measure scholar growth is through the administration of the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing. This is a computerized, adaptive test that adjusts the difficulty of the questions to the level of the scholar. The majority of our scholar's results show a high growth rate coupled with a high achievement rate. Further information is available upon request.
