Good Government Reporting New Mexico in Depth reported on the money going to state lawmakers on key issues such as an effort to reform the states alcohol policies, including contributions from lobbyists and their employers. We also provided insight into how industries fund dark money groups through a series of stories about a new dark money group operating prior to the states primary election. We continued to report on the states independent ethics commission and the progress it has made in creating a new culture of disclosure among the states public officials. And we launched a new project that will result in a new interactive money-in-politics web portal in 2024.
