ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONS - RISING YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCES ORIGINAL PLAYS WITH YOUTH AND ADULTS AROUND SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES. THIS YEAR INCLUDED TOURING PERFORMANCES OF KEYSMASH, A PLAY ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH, WHICH ENGAGED 21 ARTISTS AND WAS ATTENDED BY 600 PEOPLE IN PERSON, CURIOUS PLAYBACK THEATRE FOR QUEER YOUTH, WHICH ENGAGED 14 ARTISTS AND WAS ATTENDED BY 210 PEOPLE, COYOTE WOMAN IN DEVELOPMENT AND THE LIGHT RAIL PLAYS WHICH RETURNED TO CELEBRATE ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH 15 ARTISTS AND FOR APPROXIMATELY 500 AUDIENCE MEMBERS.
