THE GRANTS PROVIDE FUNDS FOR VARIOUS ITEMS INCLUDING THE PURCHASE OF COMMUNICATION DEVICES WHICH ALLOWS THE ALS PATIENT TO CONTINUE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS, IN-HOME HEALTH CARE SO A FAMILY CAN GAIN BACK SOME FINANCIAL STABILITY AND MINOR HOME IMPROVEMENTS THAT PROVIDE HANDICAPPED ACCESSABILITY.
