SEPTEMBER 2023 MARKED THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF OPENING OUR DOORS WITH A FEW SEWING MACHINES, A LOT OF FABRIC, AND AN ALL-VOLUNTEER STAFF. WE INVITED OUR STAUNCHEST SUPPORTERS TO OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY PARTY, AND SOME CLIENTS ATTENDED TO SHARE THE IMPACT OF THE PROGRAMS ON THEIR LIVES. WE WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE A SECOND HOUSE CALLED RACHAELS HOUSE, WHICH IS FOR UNHOUSED WOMEN WITH CHILDREN. WE SUCCESSFULLY MOVED TWENTY UNHOUSED FAMILIES TO TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, REUNITED SEVEN CLIENTS WITH THEIR CHILDREN IN CYFD CUSTODY, AND TWENTY-TWO CLIENTS GRADUATED FROM OUR RECOVERY HOUSING. ADDITIONALLY, WE ADDED COMMUNICATION SKILLS, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS (CHW) SESSIONS TO OUR LIFE SKILLS.
