For the year ended December 31, 2024, Pure Hands, Inc. operated the following programs:(i)Food security and Agriculture Sector:Due to the conflict and continuous crisis, Yemen is the most significant food security emergency in the world. In response to the urgent need, Pure Hands provides emergency food assistance as follows: 1.Food Baskets distribution2.Supporting Bakeries and Free bread distribution 3.Free meal distribution Project4.Qurbani Meats distribution (ADAHI) 5.Economic EmpowermentA total of 303,898 people benefited from food assistance for the year ended December 31, 2024.(ii)Health Sector: Pure Hands plays a vital role in delivering primary healthcare services through its health sector programs, which aim to provide access to primary healthcare, improve the response to emergencies, and help prevent diseases. 1.Medical cash assistance for needy Patients (Internal & External)2.Malnutrition Center Built3.Dialysis patients' support4.Support pharmacies5.Medical Camps and Campaigns6.Medical ShipmentsA total of 106,414 people benefited from Health interventions for the year ended December 31, 2024.(iii)WASH Sector:With the collapsing health and WASH facilities, transmitted disease outbreaks will continue to pose a significant threat to the lives of millions. Yemen faced the worst cholera outbreak in 2017. Pure Hands provides emergency water sanitation and hygiene services and assistance to highly vulnerable people with implementing the following projects:1.Wells Drilling2.Construction and rehabilitation of water harvesting systems3.Water Trucking4.Dams and Water Barriers Construction5.Reviving rural agricultural villages6.Building a water tankA total of 487,676 people benefited from WASH assistance for the year ended December 31, 2024.(iv) Shelter Sector:Since 2015, nearly 15 percent of the entire population, 4.3 million people, have been forced to flee their homes; 3.3 million people are still displaced. Nearly one-third of all IDPs (Internal Displaced People) live in the district across the country with the highest convergence of complex, and multi-dimensional problems. Pure Hands delivered emergency assistance to internally displaced people (IDPs) and conflict-affected populations in addition to host communities.Pure Hands Shelter interventions are as follows: 1.Housing units construction (temporary homes) For IDPs2.Rehabilitation IDPs Homes3.Emergency response to affected people by floods (tent and NFI distribution)4.Winterization seasonal projects5.Eid Al-Fitr Clothing Project6.Eid Al-Adha Clothing ProjectA total of 86,628 people benefited from Shelter assistance for the year ended December 31, 2024.(v)Education Sector: Pure Hands has different activities in the area of Education as follows:1.Providing students with learning supplies (stationery, school backpacks)2.Offering Incentives for Volunteering Teachers3.Supporting Internal Scholarships4.Furniture distribution for public schools5.Development Centers Built6.Building SchoolsA total of 27,762 people benefited from Education assistance provided by Pure Hands for the year ended December 31, 2024.(vi) Protection Sector: Pure Hands has different activities in the area of protection as follows:1.Cash Assistance for Orphans2.Supporting orphanages3.Psychological sessions and activities for Orphans4.Cash Assistance (Livelihood)A total of 10,338 people benefited from Protection assistance for the year ended December 31, 2024.(vii) Operation & Capacity Building Sector: Pure Hands has different activities in the sectors of operation & Capacity Building as follows:1.Rehabilitation and Construction Supporting service projects (roads mosques & schools)2.Support the Youth sports club3.Restoration of archaeological projectsA total of 8,750 people benefited from the operation & Capacity Building for the year ended December 31, 2024.
