The SuperYou FUNdation continued to facilitate workshops to empower and inspire at-risk and marginalized youth and adults, with a focus on the LGBTQ community, and women in domestic violence and trauma centers in Long Island, NYC, and Westchester. The life-affirming workshops, which involve music, theatre, storytelling, sharing, declaring, and art, culminated in buses of youth and women attending two empowering music concerts at Carnegie Hall that speak to the themes of the workshops (resilience, acceptance, kindness, and self-love) in their own self-designed superhero capes. In the final number, participants were able to sing at Carnegie Hall, declaring to themselves and others that we all are "enough," superheroes as we already are -- with or without a cape.

The SuperYou FUNdation programming continues to expand its reach internationally. Through a partnership with Kingswood Arts in London, The SuperYou FUNdation volunteer facilitators have begun workshops to inspire creativity, inclusivity, and resilience for at-risk and low-income 5th and 6th grade youth. Students and their caregivers joined together in family bonding, storytelling and cape-making workshops to amplify kindness, connection, listening, and respect. Strategies, planning, and essential data collection have been implemented to continue educational music and arts-based services throughout the upcoming year.
