Articles included the artist Yvonne Jacquette, Indigenous cosmology, barrage balloons and gliders produced for WWII, and astronomy at Wesleyan. Volume 22, Number 2: Spring 2024: theme of historical preservation in the digital age. Stories on various digital projects including the Veterans History Project at CCSU, Newgate Prison, Glastonbury Historical Societys Covid 19 project, and technology like ground penetrating radar more. Volume 22, Number 3: Summer 2024: theme of monuments and memory. Included stories about various monuments, including John Mason, Civil War soldiers and enslaved people, the Soldiers and Sailors Arch, and Gallaudet. Volume 22, Number 4: Fall 2024: theme of history under foot. Included stories about archaeological sites, a mans civil rights marching, the Ball & Socket factory, and nuclear power protests. Grating the Nutmeg, the podcast of Connecticut history, had 19,371 unique downloads in one year and 117,424 total. The staff created new social media pages for the podcast and published 24 semi-monthly episodes on topics including: Revolutionary War Hero Lafayette Makes a Triumphal Return Tour (547); The Hartford Circus Fire Tragedy (602); Sherlock Holmes and William Gillette's Castle (630). Where I Live: Connecticut, a social studies book, e-book, and website for third and fourth graders, published in Fall 2017 and in use by more than 20,000 students. Venture Smiths Colonial Connecticut, a social studies book, e-book, and website for grades 5 8, published in September 2019. Additional education resources for K-12 provided via ctexplored.org/teach and CTHistoryforKids.org.
