PRACC was successful in creating and operating the Oglala Lakota living History Village. The Village is a Native American tourism attraction that is open to the public during the summer tourism season. The project is a collaboration between the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Pine Ridge Area Chamber of Commerce and the South Dakota Department of Tourism. Unfortunately, due to the COVID 19 pandemic the OLLHV did not see the visitation that was projected. OLLHV will be open for the 2023 tourism season. Major milestones are: Employing local native youth. Completion of new displays. Providing cultural education. Formulating partnerships within the tourism industry.

PRACC was awarded a marketing grant from the South Dakota Department of Tourism. These funds assisted PRACC with marketing efforts related to the plan created in the ANA project. PRACC was able to provided targeted marketing to regions of the country in efforts to boost tourism on the Pine Ridge Reservation as an economic driver. The marketing is beneficial to local entrepreneurs and Tribal member owned businesses on the reservation.

PRACC partnered with an annual event called the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. Participants of the challenge donated funds to PRACC. The funds received were used as a non-federal match to the ANA project. In addition, PRACC created a scholarship fund for local youth entering college. PRACC will provide the first scholarship in 2023.
