OTHER SUPPLIES FOR THE MOBILE CLINIC FUNDED BY VARIOUS GRANTS FROM THE US INCLUDE: HARNESSES (37 DISTRIBUTED DURING 2024), FIRST AID KITS (44 DISTRIBUTED), WATER TROUGHS (48 DISTRIBUTED), BLANKETS (77 DISTRIBUTED), KINDER/GENTLER BITS (45 DISTRIBUTED), AS WELL AS CONDUCTING SEVERAL OUTREACH DAYS AT THE HOSPITAL AND IN THE MORE REMOTE AREAS OF KABUL, WHERE OVER 2000 LEAFLETS AND POSTERS WERE DISTRIBUTED BY THE TEAM. -MEDICINAL AND EQUIPMENT SUPPLIES TO THE NEW 24/7 EMERGENCY ANIMAL HOSPITAL (OFFICIALLY OPENED NOVEMBER 2023)-TNVR ON 337 DOGS AND CATS AT THE HOSPITAL-REHOMING/FOSTERING PROGRAMME WITH LOCAL AFGHAN FAMILIES TOTALLED 82 ANIMALS DURING 2024-EDUCATION PROGRAM ON RABIES PREVENTION AND ANIMAL WELFARE CONDUCTED IN 5 SCHOOLS DURING THE YEAR (2 GOVERNMENT; 3 PRIVATE) TOTALLING APPROXIMATELY 2000 STUDENTS. 123 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TAUGHT BY THE NOWZAD VETS IN VARIOUS ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND VETERINARY TECHNIQUES-FUNDING TO OPERATE NOWZAD'S DONKEY SANCTUARY IN KABUL FOR 14 DONKEYS, 2 HORSES AND 1 GOAT, INCLUDING FOOD AND WATER PROVISION, VETERINARY CARE AND STAFF WAGES.
