IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS MISSION, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS FUNDRAISING, EDUCATIONAL, AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND PROVIDES GRANTS AND OTHER FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ZAKA TO ASSIST WITH THE ACQUISITION OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT, VEHICLES, PROTECTIVE GEAR, AND OPERATIONAL SUPPLIES, AS WELL AS TO SUPPORT TRAINING, DEPLOYMENT, AND VOLUNTEER ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF ZAKA VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE EXPOSED TO TRAUMATIC EVENTS, INCLUDING RESILIENCE AND RECOVERY INITIATIVES. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES, THE ORGANIZATION ENABLES ZAKA VOLUNTEERS TO RESPOND RAPIDLY AND PROFESSIONALLY TO EMERGENCY SITUATIONS IN ISRAEL AND WORLDWIDE, ASSISTING SURVIVORS, RECOVERING VICTIMS, AND ENSURING RESPECTFUL HANDLING OF HUMAN REMAINS.
