The primary program services provided by HTPRC are peer-to-peer counseling of women facing unplanned pregnancies, referrals to other services within the community, including adoption, consumable supplies for the babies (primarily diapers, formula, and baby wipes), baby and maternity clothing, and pregnancy tests for self-administration. We can also refer clients to an OB-GYN for free ultrasound images of the developing babies. Our clients reside in one of the poorest areas of town.

Women who become clients of HTPRC are offered participation in an incentive-driven, computer-based education program that provides training and information regarding their pregnancy from prenatal to post-natal. For completing lessons, the women earn 'mommy money' that they can redeem for necessities for their babies - e.g. strollers, car seats, play pens and cribs. These are items the women often would go without or depend on family or friends for hand-me-downs.
