Supported and encouraged the growth of small businesses throughout the service area of RIA Main Street and UBR Main Street. Conducted assessments of business needs and provided subgrants. Through Department of Housing and Community Development we provide additional SBTA and the opportunity to as well as corridor market analysis in order to attract new businesses to the corridor. DC Department of Small and Local Business Development: Clean Team Grant provides services to Rhode Island Avenue NE corridor, removing trash and graffiti while contracting with a company that employs and trains returning citizens. We now operate DC Squared Markets to address and support food access in Northeast in addition to our Main Street, Small Business Technical Assistance And Storefront Improvement Program.
