DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN LEAVING THEIR ABUSER AND LEAVING THEIR PETS BEHIND TO BE ABUSED. SINCE 2007, NOAH'S HAS CARED FOR OVER 2000 PETS WITH 175,000 BOARDING NIGHTS FOR SURVIVORS ARRIVING AT OUR PARTNERING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS FROM 37 STATES. SERVICES INCLUDE BOARDING, FOOD, MEDICAL CARE, SPAY/NEUTERING, VACCINATIONS PLUS LOVE AND ATTENTION. OUR FACILITY OFFERS INDOOR/OUTDOOR DOG RUNS, CAT CONDOS, PRIVATE INTAKE ROOM FOR MEDICAL, BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENTS AND CURRENT VACCINATION CONFIRMATION, A GROOMING STATION, OUTDOOR PLAY AREA WITH A HEALING GARDEN AND THE MOST POPULAR: TWO CUDDLE ROOMS FOR THE CLIENTS AND PETS TO ENJOY A LIVING ROOM SETTING FOR A SENSE OF NORMALCY. THE ORGANIZATION'S BUILDINGS ARE SECURED TO ENSURE PROTECTION OF THE PETS, STAFF AND THE CLIENTS. THEY HAVE TWO AMAZING VETERINARY PARTNERS IN BOTH NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN NEVADA THAT PROVIDE DISCOUNTED SERVICES FOR THOSE PETS ARRIVING IN NEED OF EXTRA MEDICAL ATTENTION WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 25% OF THE PETS. IN 2019, NOAH'S AND FOUNDER, STACI ALONSO WERE HUMBLED BY THE INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AS ONE OF THE TOP TEN CNN HEROES. NOAH'S ANIMAL HOUSE ASKS THAT YOU REMEMBER ON KEY STAT: WOMEN STAY AT THEIR PARTNER SHELTER WITH PETS HAVE A 15% RECIDIVISM RATE. THEY LEAVE, GET PULLED BACK WITH A FORGIVING HEART AND BY A PROMISE THAT IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY, IT HAPPENS AGAIN AND THEY LEAVE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. HERE IS WHERE IT CHANGES: WOMEN WITH PETS NEXT DOOR AT NOAH'S HAVE A RETURN RATE OF 3%. SIMPLY STATED, THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND SAFETY OF THEIR PETS ACCELERATES THE HEALING AND SENSE OF SELF=WORTH, BREAKING THE CYCLE OF ABUSE FASTER.
