Our operating room suites feature innovative ceiling-mounted modular units which give the surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses access to a comprehensive array of tools, equipment and data.The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua is specifically designed for patients to have procedures under general or local anesthesia which don't require an overnight stay. The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua is a community partnership of Nashua's two major healthcare organizations: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua and Southern New Hampshire Health System.

The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua provides high quality, outpatient surgical care for all individuals without regard to demographics, socio-economic status, or age, provided the patient is medically appropriate for the Center. The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua provides patient care in an environment that is conducive to meeting the expressed needs of a diverse patient population while at the same time adhering to the highest standards for patient care.(Continued on Schedule O)Surgery patients will go home the same day. The Surgery Center willspecialize in providing surgery and diagnostic (e.g., colonoscopy)services. Emphasis will be placed on patient specific factors includingphysical status, surgical procedure, length of procedure and ASA classification. Only patients whose needs can be fully supplied by theSurgery Center will be considered as candidates for a procedure. Theperioperative / perianesthesia team providing care consists of anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, certified registered nurseanesthetists, physician assistants, registered nurses, surgicaltechnologists, surgical assistants, and operating room assistants.Elective procedures performed include, but are not limited to thefollowing: - Orthopedic- Podiatry- Ear Nose and Throat- General Surgery- Plastic Surgery- Gynecology- Gastroenterology
