GIVENKIND STRENGTHENS NONPROFIT PROGRAMS BY SUPPLYING ESSENTIAL DONATED GOODS THAT HELP REMOVE EVERYDAY BARRIERS TO SUCCESS. THE ORGANIZATION RESCUES SURPLUS, OVERSTOCKED, OUT-OF-SEASON, AND CLOSE-DATED PRODUCTS FROM BUSINESSES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND REDISTRIBUTES THEM TO QUALIFIED 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. BY ENSURING ACCESS TO BASIC NECESSITIES, GIVENKIND ENABLES NONPROFITS TO DELIVER MORE EFFECTIVE SERVICES AND IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR THE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THEY SERVE. IN 2025, GIVENKIND DISTRIBUTED 19.24 MILLION IN DONATED PRODUCTS TO 307 NONPROFIT PARTNERS AND FULFILLED 3,535 RESOURCE REQUESTS. THESE GOODS SUPPORTED A WIDE RANGE OF NONPROFIT PROGRAMS, INCLUDING EDUCATION AND JOB TRAINING, CHILD CARE, COUNSELING, HEALTHCARE, HOMELESSNESS AND HUNGER SERVICES, ARTS AND CULTURE, AND ANIMAL WELFARE. ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL ITEMS SUCH AS CLOTHING, FOOD, PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS, AND HOUSEHOLD GOODSALLOWED NONPROFIT PARTNERS TO ADDRESS IMMEDIATE NEEDS SO PARTICIPANTS COULD MORE FULLY ENGAGE IN PROGRAMMING AND MOVE TOWARD LONG-TERM STABILITY. GIVENKINDS WORK ALSO ADVANCES ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY BY REDIRECTING USABLE PRODUCTS AWAY FROM LANDFILLS AND INTO COMMUNITY USE. THROUGH ITS REDISTRIBUTION MODEL, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES COMPANIES WITH A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE SOLUTION FOR DONATING EXCESS INVENTORY WHILE MAXIMIZING THE COMMUNITY IMPACT OF THOSE GOODS. IN 2025, GIVENKIND EXPANDED ACCESS TO RESOURCES THROUGH TWO NEW INITIATIVES. THE GIVENKIND GIVING CIRCLE RAISED 10,000 TO PROVIDE NONPROFITS WITH GIFT CARDS FOR ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS, LEVERAGING EACH DONATED DOLLAR INTO MORE THAN 24 IN GOODS. ADDITIONALLY, GIVENKIND OPENED A SATELLITE LOCATION IN BRIDGEPORT, ILLINOIS, INCREASING ACCESS FOR NONPROFITS SERVING CHICAGOS SOUTH AND WEST SIDES. AS A NONPROFIT SERVING NONPROFITS, GIVENKIND CONTINUES TO AMPLIFY THE IMPACT OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS BY ENSURING THE RIGHT RESOURCES REACH THOSE WHO NEED THEM MOST.
