HSL HOSPICE SEEKS TO FULFILL ITS MISSION BY: - MAINTAINING THE DIGNITY, COMFORT, AND SPIRITUAL WELLBEING OF SENIORS IN THE GREATER BOSTON COMMUNITY - EMPOWERING SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO MAKE WELLINFORMED DECISIONS AS THEY MOVE THROUGH THE ENDOFLIFE EXPERIENCE - OPTIMIZING THE QUALITY OF THE EXPERIENCE FOR BOTH PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES - EASING PATIENTS' PAIN AND ANXIETY - HELPING PATIENTS ACHIEVE EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS - SUPPORTING PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH THE CONFUSING WEEKS AND MONTHS OF TERMINAL ILLNESS, AND - REMAINING CLOSE BY AS FAMILY MEMBERS AND CLOSE FRIENDS BEGIN TO HEAL FROM THEIR LOSS.
