Founded in 2012, DYMON in the Rough (Dynamic Young Minorities of Nashville) is a Nashville-based 501(c)(3) that advances educational opportunity and youth development for minority and inner-city students. The organization: (1) awards scholarships to college-bound high school seniors and collegiate students; (2) delivers quality youth development programs during after-school, school day, and the summer programming for middle-school and high school youth, providing academic support, career readiness, mentoring, and a curriculum on mental and physical health, Social and Emotional Learning, STREAM, and life-skills development; and (3) conducts community outreach that connects families with services and resources.
