Over a ten year period, YRT has evolved from a dedicated senior center transportation program in a rural community to a public transit service connecting that community with two other more urban population centers, creating access to shopping, medical appointments, governmental services, education, employment, and recreation. In FY 2023, YRT provided 17,840 rides at no charge. 9,953 of those were ADA qualified.
