IVCF'S INITIAL STUDY, "PRESERVE" IS THE FIRST LARGE-SCALE, MULTISPECIALTY PROSPECTIVE STUDY TO EVALUATE THE USE OF IVC FILTERS AND RELATED FOLLOW-UP TREATMENT.PRESERVE DATA ALLOWS A SYSTEMATIC, FUNCTIONAL VIEW, REPRESENTATIVE OF ALL FILTERS PLACED IN THE UNITED STATES, THUS, ALL STAKEHOLDERS-INDIVIDUALS, HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, INSURERS AND GOVERNMENT REGULATORS - WILL BE ARMED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THEY NEED ON PATIENT RISK AND, SUBSEQUENTLY, QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN FILTER PLACEMENT, MANAGEMENT AND RETRIEVAL. THIS STUDY EVALUATED THE OVERALL SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY OF FILTERS PLACED BY DOCTORS AND ENROLLED 1,420 PATIENTS. IVCF CONCLUDED THE CLINICAL STUDY ACTIVITIES IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2022. UPON CONCLUSION OF THE STUDY, IVCF IS PERFORMING OTHER ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY AND PUBLICATION OF A PAPER DETAILING THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY. THE STUDY FINDINGS WILL BE DISSEMINATED AS APPROPRIATE TO THE MANUFACTURERS WHO SPONSORED THE STUDY. IVCF IS ALSO EXPECTED TO PROMOTE THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS FOLLOWING THE CONCLUSION OF THE STUDY.
