Arizona Theatre Matters primary program service is the creation and free public distribution of professionally produced, fully accessible digital theatre. The organization develops and releases original and classic theatrical works designed from inception to be accessible to Blind and Deaf audiences, integrating audio description, American Sign Language performance, and inclusive casting practices as core artistic elements rather than accommodations. During the reporting period, Arizona Theatre Matters produced and released multiple digital theatre works via its public YouTube channel, reaching a global audience of more than 100,000 subscribers and tens of thousands of individual viewers. Productions featured Deaf sign language performers on screen, Blind voice actors in audio roles, and creative teams led by artists from the communities served. All programming was offered free of charge to the public, removing economic, geographic, and physical barriers to participation. The organizations work prioritizes audiences historically excluded from live theatre, including Blind, Deaf, low-income, rural, and home-based viewers, while also serving educators, libraries, and community organizations through ongoing digital access. Program accomplishments include the completion and release of multiple full-length and short-form productions, national and international viewership growth, and the establishment of a sustainable digital theatre model centered on accessibility, artistic excellence, and public benefit.
