MADISON COMMUNITY CENTER CAMPAIGN - A PROJECT TO COLLECT DONATIONS FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TO HELP FUND THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE BUILDING FORMERLY KNOWN AS THREE SPRINGS INTO THE MADISON COMMUNITY CENTER, A 34,000 SQUARE FOOT CENTER FOR INTERGENERATIONAL LEARNING THAT WILL ALSO FEATURE OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL SPACES. MVP ANTICIPATES THAT THIS CAMPAIGN WILL WRAPUP IN THE SPRING OF 2025 AND DONOR RESTRICTED FUNDS FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO THE CITY OF MADISON. ON JANUARY 26, 2023, THEY SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH MADISON VISIONARY PARTNERS TO BECOME THE FISCAL SPONSOR OF THIS TRANSFORMATIVE PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF MADISON THAT WILL REMOVE BARRIERS KEEPING CHILDREN WITH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES OFF THE BASEBALL FIELD.THE EVENTUAL PROJECT BUILD-OUT ONCE FUNDING HAS BEEN SECURED WILL BE LED BY THE MADISON, ALABAMA PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
