THESE FUNDS WERE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING: -TO PROVIDE HOUSING, FOOD, EDUCATION, MEDICAL CARE AND LOVE FOR 81 ABANDONED, ORPHANED, OR VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND 19 ADULTS. A NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS OR VARIOUS DISABILITIES OR ARE ORPHANS WHO ARE HIV+ -TO PROVIDE SPONSORHIP FOR 108 ADULTS TO ATTEND HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, OR TO HELP WITH THEIR RENT -TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP FOR 11 CHILDREN TO ATTEND SCHOOL WHO ARE NOT LIVING AT THE CHILDREN'S HOME -TO HELP WITH EFFORTS IN MAKING PEACE BETWEEN 16 TRIBES IN THE SOUTHERN REGION OF ETHIOPIA. -TO COLLABORATE WITH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WITH COMMUNITY SERVICE AS WELL AS RESEARCH IN ORDER TO BETTER SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
