The organization successfully served over 500 youth and families in Southwest Philadelphia through a comprehensive suite of services focused on education, workforce development, and anti-violence programming. Key educational initiatives included the Expanded College Prep After-School Program, which delivered daily literacy and math tutoring to Title I elementary students, resulting in improved academic engagement and school-day performance. We also significantly strengthened our Workforce Development Program through a 49-hour model, providing essential job readiness training, resume building, mock interviews, and career planning, successfully connecting participants to employment and vocational pathways. To address community trauma and foster stability, we implemented Trauma-Informed Mentoring Programs, including the bi-monthly Man 2 Man Community Circle for fathers and men, alongside weekly programs for teen boys and girls focused on life skills and conflict resolution. We further delivered Consistent Community Stabilization Services through bi-monthly grocery giveaways serving hundreds of families, parenting classes, and family engagement workshops. High-impact community outreach was maintained by hosting events such as the annual College & Trades Fair (featuring 20+ institutions/employers), the 2-on-2 Me and My Dad Got Game Basketball Tournament, the Interfaith Prayer Breakfast & Seniors Resource Fair, and various holiday drives (Turkey Giveaway, Christmas Bike Giveaway). Furthermore, we Expanded Digital Literacy Access with weekly Introduction to Computers classes and partnerships for laptop distribution and beginner tech training. The organization increased its Strategic Partnerships with the City of Philadelphia, schools, nonprofits, and workforce partners, strengthening the pipeline to education and employment. This success culminated in securing a Major Public Investment of $250,000 from the City of Philadelphia to scale anti-violence and workforce programming, leveraging our strong community reach of over 75,000 social media followers and a 500+ participant database.
