Local leaders who attended our training conferences applied their knowledge to address neglected conditions in their communities. While many efforts were independent some leaders required additional support to fully execute their plans. Consultation and feedback were provided yet the scope of the work necessitated further field assistance. African directors aided in assessing and addressing issues promptly facilitating efficient communication in Africa and Asia and enhancing accountability. Seed grants filled gaps in project design and implementation due to limited local resources. These grants acted as catalysts providing momentum and basic infrastructure for sustained project continuation post-funding. Sustainable income projects were funded to ensure project longevity. The endeavors resulted in 806,950 individuals receiving medical and spiritual care transforming over 5.5 million lives since 2013.

Conferences were held in Bangladesh Benin Burundi Congo DRC Ghana Kenya Liberia Malawi Rwanda Tanzania Togo Uganda and Zambia for 13,073 indigenous faith and medical leaders from these nations. Despite high demand we maintained small conference sizes to ensure quality engagement. Through replication and discipleship we expanded training numbers while preserving intimate group settings. In-person conferences in Benin Burundi Kenya Ghana Liberia Malawi Rwanda Tanzania and Zambia followed a standard format with major expenses covering lodging food and transportation for participants. Conference content emphasized education and practical implementation strategies. Initial sessions covered advanced medical care processes Zero in on Zero Neglected Tropical Diseases NTDs and the role of Christian leaders in communities from medical and theological viewpoints. Advanced conferences delved into implementation tactics leadership skills and provided a platform for participants to share successes and challenges from the previous year.
