Denver Food Rescue had a successful 2024, with + visits to No Cost Grocery Programs (NCGPs), serving 4,000 unique individuals, including 2,000 unique youth, with approximately 15,000 total number of people served each month. Through the Healthy Choice Food Box Program, we delivered boxes of fresh produce to 150-200 families at their homes per month, totalling 2,100 boxes. Our efforts rescued x pounds of food, including619,448 pounds of fresh produce, valued at $3 million and equivalent to 450,000 meals. The Self Sufficiency and Nutrition program engaged 240 students across 3 schools in 60 classes. 179 volunteers biked 989.7 miles and completed 2930 food shifts, ensuring timely deliveries to those in need.
