The organization also operates two supervised transitional living homes (one for females and one for males) which serve 30-40 youth annually. Project 1649 provides youth (transitional living home residents, community case management participants, and in-school workshop participants) with opportunities to learn and develop important independent living/life skills. In 2024, the transitional living homes served 34 youth. 94% of residents graduated or were attending school regularly, the program achieved a 100% positive exit rate, 85% obtained/increased employment and 95% of youth increased their self-sufficiency score in two or more of five key areas.
