The purpose of Animas High School Building Corporation is to hold title to property and otherwise act to facilitate the operations of Animas High School, a Colorado nonprofit corporation and charter school, and to otherwise promote public and charter school education, and specifically for the following activities: -Acquiring, leasing (as lessor or lessee), constructing, improving, equipping and financing various facilities, land, equipment and other improvements in connection with property intended to be leased to the charter school, and in this connection and without limiting the generality of any of the foregoing, the corporation is empowered to hold, own, improve, use and otherwise deal in and with real and personal property, or any interest therein and to make contracts and incur liabilities, and to secure any of its obligations by mortgage, deed to secure debt, deed of trust, creation of a security interest in, or other encumbrances on or all or any part of its property, franchise and income and - any lawful act or activity for which nonprofit corporations may be organized, so long as the same are necessary, appropriate, suitable or convenient to accomplish the objects or purposes.
