In 2023, Amenity Aid ensured 114,932 low-income Rhode Island residents had the free, essential hygiene products they needed but could not afford or acquire with SNAP benefits. Serving all of Rhode Island through partnerships with 91 agencies, we distributed 128,124 full-size products and 10,600 travel kits. Other milestones include earning the Rhode Island Foundations Honoring Best Practices Award for creating the only hygiene hub of its kind in Rhode Island and relocating to a larger 6,000-square-foot facility that enabled us to store and distribute up to six times more products than before. In 2023, over 100 volunteers donated 535 hours of their time to organize, pack and deliver hygiene product donations. From this group, 10 were regular operations volunteers, and 91 were from corporate and small group volunteer events.
