WE BELIEVE THAT AGRICULTURE OFFERS PURPOSE, OPPORTUNITY, AND PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL BENEFITS.FARMER VETERAN COALITION WAS FORMED TO HELP AT-RISK VETERANS AS THEY RE-ENTER CIVILIAN SOCIETY BY CONNECTING THEM WITH MEANINGFUL AND STABLE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR, AND TO HELP VETERANS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM PARTICULARLY SEVERE COMBAT-RELATED INJURIES TO LOCATE SERVICES AND THERAPY OPTIONS THAT WILL ENABLE THEM TO THRIVE.

THE COALITION HAS ESTABLISHED OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO ENCOURAGE LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS, AND HAS DEVELOPED A HOMEGROWN BY HEROES TRADEMARK WITH LABELS AND PRODUCTS TO USE BY MEMBER VETERAN FARMERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.
