National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Grant project Restored habitat for eastern prairie fringed orchid, rusty-patched bumble bees and a suite of grassland/wetland-dependent birds, performed with the support of volunteers and students in the Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge. The project outcomes include removal of invasive woody species on 24 acres of wetlands and the creation of 26 acres of grassland habitat.
