Course Development: Vineyard Institute partners with churches to develop teaching modules (courses). A module consists off 8-10 lectures on topics ranging from Biblical literacy to practical ministry training. One of our missions is to be a "to/from" organization. Our modules are both from churches and for (to) churches. We seek to capture the very best teachers for our program. We have 42 courses. Prospective instructors submit their c.v. and resume for review by the VI curriculum committee. An instructor copyright agreement is signed providing rights to VI to capture and distribute the lecture material. VI staff work with instructors to integrate lecture material with student assignments, and package it into a teaching (course) module. A typical course is recorded at a church of the instructor's choosing. The teaching modules are then packaged with the help of church leaders according to specific church and cultural contextual needs. No revenue is collected during the taping of these events.

Ministry Training: Vineyard Institute provides ministry training both online and in the local church for students seeking to learn more about the Bible and/or are interested in a vocation or volunteer service in church leadership. Pastors communicate the mission of Vineyard Institute to their churches. Prospective students learn more about our program and the courses we offer from our website and apply to begin their studies. An online learning management system serves to connect students with Vineyard Institute staff, instructors, other students, and their church leadership during the course of their study. We implement a hybrid-online teaching model which provides instruction both online and in the students local church with the help of discussion facilitated by the pastoral staff. During this fiscal year VI had 686 students enroll in 2637 course modules for the year. Revenue represents tuition from these course modules.
