Each year Opera Neo holds highly competitive national auditions that draws over 500 applicants including singers pianists conductors stage managers and stage directors. Anywhere from 20-35 young artists are selected to come to San Diego for intensive professional training mentoring and performance opportunities. Live auditions are held in cities across the country. Opera Neo helps young artists of extraordinary promise to bridge the gap between their academic experience and the expectations of the professional opera world.
