Mission

IN THE WAKE OF THE 2025 LOS ANGELES FIRES, WE LAUNCHED BANNERS OF HOPE (BOH) PALISADES. BOH IS A TRAUMA-INFORMED CREATIVE ARTS MODEL TO HELP CHILDREN PROCESS FEAR, DISPLACEMENT, AND GRIEF CAUSED BY THE FIRES. AS WELL, OUR EXISTING CAMPAIGNS CONTINUED TO CREATE IMPACTFUL CHANGE ON A GLOBAL LEVEL IN 2025. SOME HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR WORK INCLUDE COLLABORATIONS WITH MAJOR STUDIOS AND FILMS THROUGH OUR LIGHTS, CAMERA, PLASTIC? CAMPAIGN, UPDATES TO OUR 8 MEALS APP, AND AMAZON CHANGING THEIR SHIPPING PRACTICES TO ALIGN WITH OUR SHIP GREENER TENETS. ADDITIONALLY, HABITS OF WASTE CONTINUED ITS WORK PROMOTING THE IDEALS OF OUR IMPERFECT ENVIRONMENTALIST MOVEMENT. IMPERFECT ENVIRONMENTALISM IS A MOVEMENT ROOTED IN SOCIAL SCIENCE AND HUMAN BEHAVIOR RESEARCH THAT SEEKS TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE AND RISING CLIMATE ANXIETY THROUGH INFLUENCING MICRO AND MACRO ACTIONS AND VALUES. THIS MOVEMENT RESPONDS TO THE RISING CONCERN THAT INDIVIDUALS ARE INCAPABLE OF MAKING A DIFFERENCE AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE, DESPITE MORE PEOPLE THAN EVER FEELING ITS EFFECTS. IMPERFECT ENVIRONMENTALISTS ARE PEOPLE WHO MAY NOT IDENTIFY AS FULL-FLEDGED ENVIRONMENTALISTS, BUT ARE WILLING TO HELP BY LIVING MORE SUSTAINABLY "MOST" OF THE TIME. THIS HELPS INDIVIDUALS SHIFT THEIR MINDSET FROM "I'M ONLY ONE PERSON" TO "I CAN START THE RIPPLE EFFECT FOR CHANGE."
