LUNG CANCER SCREENING ASSISTANCE - THE MANA RADIOLOGY / CANCER SCREENING PREVENTION GRANT WAS USED TO HELP COVER COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH LUNG CANCER SCREENING CT READS.

Program 2

Expenses: $2,550

ONCOLOGY GENETIC COUNSELING - PATIENTS CAN RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FOR HEREDITARY CANCER CONSULTING DONE BY A LICENSED CERTIFIED GENETIC COUNSELOR. WE DO NOT WANT THE COST OF ONCOLOGY GENETIC COUNSELING TO PREVENT ANYONE FROM GETTING THIS VALUABLE SERVICE. IN 2023, 30 PATIENTS WHO OTHERWISE COULD NOT HAVE AFFORDED A CONSULTATION WITH A GENETICS COUNSELOR, WERE PROVIDED COUNSELING THROUGH OUR GENETIC COUNSELOR GRANT.

NUTRITIONAL SERVICES - WE FUNDED A FULL-TIME REGISTERED DIETITIAN TO SUPPORT THE HEAD & NECK CANCER PATIENTS WHO STRUGGLE WITH THE ABILITY TO EAT WHILE UNDERGOING TREATMENT.
