Community Integration & Engagement Program Chin Community of Indiana (CCI) undertakes a comprehensive approach to fostering community cohesion and effective integration. This is achieved through conducting community meetings, conferences and collaborations with local government agencies. These efforts are supplemented by neighborhod meeting that bring together CCI members and residents to share valuable information aimed at community betterment. The program also celebrates cultural events sush as Chin National Day, Chin New Year, and Cultural day, in addition to organizating recreational activities including summer and winter sport programs and family fun day, all designed to enhance community engagement and promote a sense of unity and well-being among members.

Social Services Program Chin Community of Indiana (CCI) provided a range of social services that directly impacted over 8,345 individuals in the past year. These services included translation assistance, phone call resources and referrals for various problem-solving needs. The program supported community members with greencard and naturalization applications including follow-ups for translation services. Additionally CCI helped resolve issues related to food stamps, medicaids, and medical bills. Over the past year, CCI organized eight COVID-19 vaccination events, resulting in 654 individuals receiving vaccinations. CCI also hosted youth career fairs, offering internship and volunteer oppotunities, and included youth in community events, and programs to prepare them for leadership roles. We beleve that engaging community members fosters a sense of beloging and accountability within the community.
