Mobile Exhibitions: In 2025, Miami MoCAAD expanded its reach and deepened community engagement. The organization launched mobile exhibitions, Telling Overtown Stories, Saying Their Names, designed to elevate local history and amplify underrepresented narratives. By bringing curated exhibitions directly into neighborhood spaces such as the North Dade Regional Library, Miami MoCAAD increased access for residents who may not typically visit museums. Museum Digital Platform: Digital growth accelerated significantly in 2025. Facebook views increased from 9,450 in 2024 to 56,500 in 2025. Instagram reach expanded from 14,736 to 156,239. LinkedIn impressions grew from 11,650 to 13,893. YouTube views increased from 2,802 to 39,338. This exponential growth reflects strategic digital storytelling, expanded video production, and increased public engagement with immersive AR/VR content. ARt Tech Student Workshop Program: Miami MoCAAD served 328 youth and parents through this program in 2025. Participants developed were inspired by Miami MoCAADs virtual reality exhibitions, gained digital literacy skills, leveraged exposure to immersive technologies to create their own art, and benefited from expanded awareness of creative technology career pathways. Parent engagement strengthened community connection and reinforced the educational value of arts-integrated STEAM programming. Virtual Reality exhibition platform: In 2025, the organization formally launched its enhanced Virtual Reality exhibition platform via an online museum, solidifying its position as one of the few cultural institutions in the nation integrating immersive AR/VR technology as a core programmatic model. The initiative expands access beyond geographic limitations, supports intergenerational audiences, creates opportunities for youth engagement and innovative educational student workshops, and strengthens Miami-Dade Countys reputation as a leader in arts innovation. Soul Basel Celebration: The annual community event, which in 2025 celebrated Miami MoCAADs 10th Anniversary, attracted over 400 attendees, both in person and virtually, reinforcing Miami MoCAADs role in Miami-Dade Countys cultural tourism ecosystem.
