THERE WERE 3 SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS OF QUILTING. MAKERS ENTERED QUILTS TO BE JUDGED IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES AND ENTRANTS RECEIVED THE JUDGE'S WRITTEN EVALUATION. AWARDS WERE GIVEN OUT IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF QUILTING SKILL. PROFITS FROM THE FESTIVAL/CONFERENCE WERE DISTRIBUTED TO THE MEMBER GUILDS WHO USE THOSE PROCEEDS FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.
