Safe conversations is an interactive program that teaches a structured dialogue process which makes it safe for everyone, in any environment to feel safe and connect through difference. The program provides and teaches the tools for a new way of talking and listening which fosters connection rather than polarization. With a breakthrough in neuroscience, we now know that it is possible to rewire the brain. This rewiring gives us the possibility to teach a new relational skill in order to decrease anxiety and increase relational connection.Conversations have the power to change the brain. A positive dialogue is a relational connection that leads to a greater understanding of cooperation, trust and compassion creating a healthy brain. Individuals that have participated in a Safe Conversations workshop are empowered with the tools to resolve conflict and remove negativity from dialogue.Safe Conversations workshop participants have experienced:Improved social/emotional health and reduce toxic stressImproved productivity in the workplaceIncreased happiness in marriage, couples and familiesImproved confidence, self-esteem and school performance in childrenWith the awareness, knowledge, and practice of self-directed neuroplasticity which puts you into the prefrontal cortex, we can achieve mental and overall wellness. (Global Wellness Institute, November 2018)When faced with chronic stress and conflict we can then implement Safe Conversations to drop our defenses and create a safe environment. A safe space allows us to engage and co-create trusting conversations with an ability to problem solve and create win-wins. The programs are customized and tailored for unique experiences to various focused areas such as but not limited to first responders, veterans, couples, families, children, teens, civil organizations, at risk populations, communities and corporations. Because we know relational sciences are now teachable. For maximum impact we offer direct service to the community and we teach and support leaders how to implement Safe Conversations who provide services to their communities. Through our unique service delivery model we host live workshops to share Safe Conversations with couples, families, corporations, centers of faith, classrooms, and communities. Public workshops are also offered throughout the year, led by Safe Conversations Leaders in various locations. Some workshops may have a special focus on certain groups such as parents/teens, first responders, or veterans. In these workshops, the topics are tailored to the unique experiences of these groups. Special workshops are offered at corporations, schools, or other organizations since Safe Conversations can equip groups of employees or students to work well together. Leader Training Program:The Leader Training program is designed to equip leaders with the skills to teach Safe Conversations in diverse formats that meet the needs of their communities. The goal is to train leaders who can then offer workshops in any location, equipping more people near and far with Safe Conversations. The Leader Training program currently offers in-person trainings throughout the year in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York City.
