MOVE TO AMEND

General Public Education: Public talks, presentations & writings NOT prepared for a specific audience to educate about the history of democracy and corporations in the United States and solutions to end corporate constitutional rights and get money out of politics. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1) Organized and hosted national educational programs and webinars examining corporate constitutional rights, money in politics, and strategies for constitutional reform, including recurring programs (Corporate Coup Reports), the series (Cultural Change for the We the People Amendment), and a public analysis of election spending (Your Vote, Their Million$: Big Money and the NYC 2025 Mayoral Election).****2 )Hosted public discussions and presentations featuring legal scholars and constitutional experts, including programs with Madiba Dennie, author of (Originalism Trap), and constitutional law professor Wilfred Codrington III addressing the constitutional amendment process and contemporary constitutional challenges.****3) Produced movement education materials and organizing resources through the Movement Education Program (The Way Through: From Overwhelm, Burnout, Despair & Anger into Effective Action).****4) Developed cultural organizing and advocacy resources through the arts and culture initiative (Creative Resistance), producing graphics, videos, and shareable materials used by advocates to raise awareness about corporate rule and constitutional reform.****5) Produced educational video content supporting the campaign for the We the People Amendment, including a short advocacy video featuring actor Peter Coyote explaining his support for the amendment.****6) Produced a documentary film (American Oligarchy: Five Fights with Fascists and Tyrants) examining the history of concentrated economic power and its impact on democratic governance.****7) Expanded national public outreach through digital communications and social media engagement, reaching millions of individuals through educational posts and advocacy content addressing corporate political power and constitutional reform.

Internship / Fellowship: Apprenticeship opportunities to learn community organizing, organizational skills and leadership skills to increase the number of individuals who have the capacity to educate the public about the history of democracy and corporations in the United States and solutions to end corporate constitutional rights and get money out of politics. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1) Provided organizing, communications, and research opportunities for interns and volunteers supporting national advocacy campaigns, educational programming, media outreach, and grassroots organizing related to constitutional reform.****2) Engaged emerging leaders and student organizers through participation in movement education programs, national organizing calls, and advocacy campaigns advancing the We the People Amendment.
