REHABILITATING EXISITNG HAND DUG WATER WELLS BY OPENING THEM UP, PUMPING THEM DRY, INSPECTING THE INSIDE, CONSTRUCTING NEW CASING, INSTALLING NEW CASING INSIDE THE WELL, DIGGING THE WELL DEEPER WITH THE HELP OF LOCAL RESIDENTS AND A LOCAL GROUP THAT ASSISTS. AFTER DEEPENING THE WELL, A PAD AND WALL ARE CONSTRUCTED AND A NEW HANDPUMP IS INSTALLED ON THE WELL.
