THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ADVOCACY, COLLABORATION AND SUPPORT TO THE HUMAN SERVICES SYSTEM IN THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA, ENHANCING AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS AND SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES, AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDERS, AS WELL AS ENHANCING THE STATUS AND HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITY PROVIDER ORGANIZATIONS THAT DELIVER SUCH SERVICES. THESE FUNCTIONS WERE ACHIEVED THROUGH ADVOCACY MEETINGS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, REGULAR SERVICE COMMITTEE/DOMAIN MEETINGS, NETWORKING WITH CONSUMER ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS AND PRESENTATION OF SPECIAL EVENTS.
