WE HAVE UNDERTAKEN LECTURES AND SPEECHES IN NEW YORK, WASHINGTON DC, SAN FRANCISCO, SACRAMENTO AND THE UNITED NATIONS. THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THESE ACTIVITIES IS TO CONVEY THE ROLE JAPAN PLAYED PRIOR TO THE START OF AND DURING WWII IN NEGOTIATION AND FIGHTING WITH THE ALLIED COUNTRIES. THE TREATMENT OF THE WOMEN CALLED "COMFORT WOMEN" BY THE JAPANESE MILITARY WAS AN IMPORTANT TOPIC.
