Summer Camp: An annual summer day camp where trans and gender expansive youth and girls ages 8-17 amplify their talents through music, mentorship, and social justice to empower themselves and their communities. In one week, campers form bands, write an original song, and perform live at a local music venue in Southeast Los Angeles. Throughout the week, campers participate in various workshops such as designing and screen-printing camper band t-shirts, songwriting, self-defense, zine-making, image and identity, recording, media literacy, and more At lunch, a guest artist/band will perform and campers will have the opportunity to ask questions. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. We also provide all instruments and supplies.

Lxs Sobrinxs: A mentorship program for trans and gender expansive youth and girls ages 14 to 17 to gain leadership skills while co-organizing CRSELA programming and events. Lxs Sobrinxs are paid for their time organizing and get the opportunity to speak and perform at live events. Participants also receive job referrals and letters of recommendation and can use CRSELA as a reference for work experience.

Other Programing: Includes a free Queer prom by and for LGBTQIA2S+ youth and allies ages 14 to 18. The prom includes free food, resources, live music, and dancing. A youth committee is formed to plan the prom and receive gift cards for their time organizing. We also hosted free music workshop series for trans and gender expansive youth and girls ages 8 to 17. Each month-long workshop series covered a different topic, from setting up and caring for instruments to live audio. Participants in the Live Audio workshop were also paid to work as the audio crew for a live show.
