THE MISSION OF THE CORPORATION IS TO PROMOTE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS OF QUALITY HOUSING AND RELATED CARE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES IN COMMUNITIES OF CARING PERSONS ON A NONPROFIT BASIS. OUR MISSION IS NATIONAL IN SCOPE AND IS TARGETED PRIMARILY TOWARD OLDER ADULTS, LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME SENIORS, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, VETERANS, AND LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME FAMILIES. WE ARE COMMITTED TO INVESTING IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION SERVING AS A MEMBER OF A NONPROFIT CORPORATION, OR AS A SHAREHOLDER OF A FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION SERVING AS GENERAL PARTNER OR MANAGING MEMBER OF A LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT LIMITED PARTNERSHIP OR LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY SPONSORED BY A NONPROFIT CORPORATION, WHERE THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH CORPORATION, PARTNERSHIP, OR COMPANY IS DIRECTED BY A NONPROFIT CORPORATION PURSUING A CHARITABLE MISSION IN CONFORMITY WITH THAT OF THE CORPORATION.
