1. EXHIBITIONS CARAVAN curated and organized three major art exhibitions in 2025 focused on building bridges between those of diverse backgrounds (peoples, cultures and spiritual traditions). NOAH: A Future Hope CARAVAN finalized the curation and then launched its groundbreaking exhibition titled NOAH: A Future Hope on the importance of caretaking the earth in the context of todays climate crisis. The exhibition is inspired by the story of Noah, the ancient flood narrative found within the Abrahamic faiths. The exhibition features three premier contemporary artists from the faith traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The exhibitions tour opened in Houston and it will travel around the US for several years. Surrounding each exhibition are peacebuilding programming such as artist panels, musical concerts and educational initiatives. SYMBOLS OF LIFE: BEYOND PERCEPTION - An Artistic Exploration of the Human Soul SYMBOLS OF LIFE: BEYOND PERCEPTION was an exhibition we curated in Dakar, Senegal, following the Dakar Art Biennale, that explored the spiritual dimension of human existence through the lens of African Sufi and indigenous traditions. The exhibition brought together the works of two remarkable artists, Tidiane Ndongo (Mali) and Djibril Coulibaly (Senegal), who focused on the heart of symbols and the essence of life itself. HEALING: Connecting Threads of Traditional Wisdom HEALING: Connecting Threads of Traditional Wisdom was an artistic exploration of the role of Indigenous Spirituality in Native American and Senegalese cultures toward healing our word. It was also a celebration of the spiritual ties that unite peoples, cultures and histories. Through the art and indigenous spirituality of Jim Yellowhawk, a Lakota Sioux artist from the USA, and Baye Ndiaga Diouf, a Senegalese artist deeply rooted in both African traditional spirituality and his Sufi Muslim faith, this unique artistic encounter offered profound reflections on the dialogue between traditional spiritual expressions and their associated cultural identities and histories.

2. JOURNEYS CARAVAN host international journeys that provide transformative experiences through the lens of culture and art. In 2025, CARAVAN led its first arts and culture journey to the country of Egypt where CARAVANs mission originated, introducing 31 participants to the country through the lens of its culture and art. The journey focused on learning firsthand from Egyptian artists painters, sculptors, weavers, alabaster and papyrus artists, dancers and musicians, and also visiting historic and contemporary cultural venues with the purpose of providing an exploration of Egypts diverse peoples, cultures and artistic traditions. The journey provided an opportunity to encounter a wide array of people and experiences, opening doors into a deeper understanding of others, a central tenet of CARAVANs peacebuilding and bridge-building mission. Extensive preparation works was also done for upcoming journeys in both Egypt and Senegal.
