FILM CENTRIC EVENTS INCLUDING SCREENINGS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND Listening Tours: Since 2021 the Queens World Film Festival has been interviewing community members about hope and resilience Over 200 interviews have been completed and over 85 compilations have been created, all capturing the diversity of our Borough as well as the unique perspectives of those who live in The Worlds Borough: Queens NY. All of the interviews and compilations are archived at Queens Memory Project at the Queens- LIbrary so that future generations may all come to know how we were able to do more than just survive the strange times of the 2020s.

QWFI partners with multiple partners to bring this immersive, fast paced experience to their clients. Screenings and Media Centric Community Events :In the summer months, NYC is pulsing with outdoor events from parks to beaches- to closed streets to public spaces.QWFI is adept at taking advantage of those opportunities with the Selfi-Situation where everyone grabs a costume hat or an oversized pop and creates a very unique family memories with outrageous pics snapped on- the emerald carpet.After dark QWFI often partners with community organizations to screen films under the stars. Several times a year QWFI will provide unique professional development opportunities like The Filmmakers Breakfast, Passion in Action, Film Festival Fusion, or How to Fest. These opportunities can take place virtually or live, they can be stand alone experiences or part of festivals and celebrations with partners.
